NEW RELEASE / PressKay’s “Destiny” – Official Videoclip – with special appearances Tarrus Riley and Kabaka Pyramid

“What is for you is for you, what is for me, is for me… Everyone rules his own destiny”, said the chorus of the beautiful Press Kay’s song titled Destiny. We already knew the tune from last year because it was the title track of Destiny Riddim, produced in 2018 by the jamaican producer Young Pow and distributed by Ghetto Youths International. When Destiny Riddim was released we remained positively impressed about the version of the young jamaican artist because of her lyricism and consciousness. We used to consider Press Kay mostly a dancehall singer, but we definitely appreciated her even more in this reggae way. The official videoclip, shooted and edited by Bussweh, eclectic and multi-talented film-maker made in Jamaica, is just online and it is the perfect added value to this meaningful single. Em-press Kay has chosen to underline the strong connection with the motherland Africa, evident in her outfit and in the background. The talented performer, recording artist, interviewer and Pr has touched in this video important topics as slavery and the recent situation of refugees in Libia, showing her awareness about the history and the present. In the videoclip some reggae super-stars have decided to appear like Tarrus Riley and Kabaka Pyramid. Definitely, the official videoclip of Destiny a very good look for this jamaican female rising star.

BLACK ICE PORTRAIT / Brilliant singer among Jamaica’s many musical new generation soldiers

Armed with a philosophy that says, ‘music is life and is not to be taken lightly’, entertainer Black Ice is a brilliant singer among Jamaica’s many musical new generation soldiers, one of those who believe music can make positive change as the art form can transcend the human experience.

During his early years, he said that music was always an integral part of his upbringing. He has always loved listening to all genres of music but said that he was most influenced by the musical legends Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Peter Tosh and Marvin Gaye.

He describes his music as being positive, uplifting, inspiring yet edgy and real. Black Ice believes his inspiration comes from a higher calling.

Currently he’s promoting his latest single, “Red A Red.” Released late April 2018, the track, he said, implores its listeners to be conscious of their surroundings and the world they live in.

“It’s a song about the road I walked and encountering what the system has to offer. It urges mankind to keep their eyes wide open, to see behind the illusions and unveil the truth”; Black Ice believes this single will not only educate and inspire but earn him a new set of fans worldwide. Its available on radio soon to be digitally released to iTunes, Spotify and CdBaby. He will have a cd distribution as well.

It is the title song of his new 4 song EP entitled “Red-a-Red, “which is being distributed in Jamaica. It will include his other hits “Hotta Fyah,”

“We’re Lovers” is the songstress soulful duet with the jamaican recording artist Sophia Brown.

Black Ice’s partnership with Kendall Curlett, “I’ll be Home for the Holidays,” is simply a classic Reggae Christmas song https://youtu.be/aW92pIB-x_0and will continue to be released annually. He is currently writing new songs and working on the video for the songs, “Shotokan Warrior” and “Crossfire”.

SUNSHINE / Brand new single Answele featuring I-Octane (Young Pow Prod.)

“Sunshine” is the brand new single of the versatile 20 years old jamaican singer Answele featuring the international recording artist I-Octane. The song, out from last Friday on every platform, is produced by Young Pow and distributed by Ghetto Youths Intl.

“The tune represents where I am now in life – Answele said to our microphones – It’s a clear message about what’s going on in my musical journey right now. On top of that has been my song whenever I feel like I’m in a down depressive vibe”.

Answele, after performing in Europe last December as open act for I-Octane Love & Life Tour 2018 promoted by Gege Vibes, has found the inspiration to compose the lyric of this song. I-Octane completed the work composing the lyric of his part. The worldwide known jamaican musician Sean Diedrick from Damian Marley’s Team, owner of Young Pow, takes care of the whole production.

Answele explains us his feeling of happiness dropping a new single in collaboration with I-Octane: “This collaboration is a dream comes true for me. It’s a completed milestone. I-Octane’s music is and was always very impactful in my life. I rate him as a entertainer. Getting to know better him in person let alone did a song with an artist of his caliber is something big for me. I will always cherish this song! Plus I want to tell Big Up to Pow, the producer”.

Answele’s career reserves many surprises for us in the future. In the meantime enjoy the listening of “Sunshine” or buy it in every digital platform.
